Connective Tissue Massage
Time & Location
About the Event
Connective Tissue Massage (CTM) is an extensive and intesive hands-O. experiential learning experience to manipulate the fascial layers of the body. It directlyreleases restrictions and adhesions of the fascia, restoring lenth and flexibility throughtou the entire muscular system. CTM provides immediate releif from pain, increased energy, increased breathing capacity and improved posture.
In part 1 of the CTM training, students will learn a new foundation of body mechanics (dynamics) to manipulate the superficial layers of fascia effectively, efficiently, and without strain on the student's body. A full-body CTM will be learned, as well as fascial anatomy, fascial relationships in the body and case studies. $495.00*
In part 2 of the CTM training (to be scheduled), students will be introduced to the deeper fascial layers of the body with extensive hands-on instruction and practice. Advanced techniques of fascial manipulation will be learned, as well as movement cues for the client to participate in the fascial release.
Instructor John Latz, founder of the Institute for Structural Integration, has over 34 years of experience. John is a true disciple of Ida Rolf in the lineage of the Rolf Method of Structural Integration. He developed Connective Tissue Massage, and has been teaching it since 1989.
