Celebrating over 25 years of Reiki at PMTI !
Reiki is an energetic bodywork practice based on mindfulness. The meditative practice gives support to both giver and receiver. The class benefits both the public and massage professionals. Usui Reiki (Rei=universal or spirit, Ki=life force) is a 100-year-old heart-centered personal practice and form of bodywork from Japan, proven to help manage pain and stress. A reference booklet is provided, and a certificate is awarded. There are no CEUs for this level.
Usui Reiki is a nearly 100-year-old practice of mind and body developed in Japan by the Teacher Mikao Usui. This method arose from his own search for a meaningful life and relief from suffering, and so that all beings could live with greater peace and harmony. Reiki is now respected and practiced world-wide in a wide range of settings: hospices and hospitals, veterinary practices, massage clinics and practices, and holistic spas. It has been clinically demonstrated to help reduce stress and to help relieve pain, while espousing universal human values.
