About the event
This assessment and practice course is designed to introduce the new hand to some of the key Visceral Manipulation (VM) techniques, palpate different types of structures, and experience treatment for each of the three major systems: digestive, cardio-respiratory, and urogenital. The biodynamic approach marries traditional Osteopathic manual technique with quiet observation of the three subtle energy bodies and an emphasis on the body's inherent health.
Carey Benenson Taussig is trained in the traditional philosophy of Osteopathy to the D.O.(M.P.) level. She specializes in Visceral Manipulation in her practice and is known for her work with the brain, Lyme disease, auto-immune disorders, and chemical and nutritional analyses. She is passionate about bringing the biodynamic approach to visceral work and teaches internationally.
Prerequisites: participants should hold a license to touch; previous experience with osteopathic technique (such as CST) is helpful, but not required.
