Craniosacral therapy (CST) is derived from original practices in osteopathic medicine and combined with modern awareness of quantum physics, consciousness studies, and depth physiology. The study of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy (BCST) unfolds new vistas in practitioner awareness and higher levels of clinical effectiveness. This practice develops incredible degrees of therapeutic precision by integrating traditional osteopathic manual skills with modern awareness in energy medicine.

In this two-day class, you'll learn:

• History, principles, and philosophy of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy
• How to increase subtle palpation skills
• How a therapist can optimize self-awareness to best meet the client
• How to create an appropriate and negotiated contract with the client's craniosacral system
• How to recognize and listen to the client's cranial rhythms throughout their body
• How to facilitate a stillpoint and deepen into stillness
• How to palpate and engage the transverse diaphragms of the body via the craniosacral system

Roger Gilchrist of the Wellness Institute and his teaching team of highly trained therapists instruct the 320-hour Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy professional training, currently running at PMTI.  This introductory course, taught by Mike Duggan of the Wellness Institute teaching team, is designed to introduce practitioners to the basic skills and principles of craniosacral biodynamics.  Anyone interested in enrolling in the longer certification should take an introductory course before embarking on the full BCST professional training.
