Mentastics movement explorations provide the somatic foundations of the Trager® Approach. This delightful practice offers us recipes for self-care and life-long self-development, and offers our clients many ways to sustain joyful and peaceful sensory experiences long after sessions. Milton Trager, MD, coined the word Mentastics as a contraction of “mental” and “gymnastics.”  This Mentastics class can be taken separately or as part of the Trager® certification program. It is held at a lovely octagonal studio surrounded by blueberry fields in Ashton-Sandy Spring, Maryland (on the outskirts of Washington DC). 

Instructor Roger Tolle is a leading innovator in the field and was recently awarded the credential of Master Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist by ISMETA.  This class is open to people who have not taken Trager® Level 1, but it is recommended that they have received at least two professional Trager® sessions or have received one session and attended a Trager® Introductory Workshop.
