Celebrating over 25 years of Reiki at PMTI !
Reiki III is a three-day training for those students who have successfully taken Reiki I and II, and wish to begin teaching. The class continues to foster centering practices, as well to present lectures, share tablework and enable students to teach the relevant skills to others. A binder of teaching materials is provided and a Reiki Teacher/Master certificate awarded. There are no CEUs given for this level.
Reiki is an energetic bodywork practice based on mindfulness. The meditative practice gives support to both giver and receiver. The class benefits both the public and massage professionals. Usui Reiki (Rei=universal or spirit, Ki=life force) is a 100-year-old heart-centered personal practice and form of bodywork from Japan, developed by the Teacher Mikao Usui and proven to help manage pain and stress. This method arose from his own search for a meaningful life and relief from suffering, and so that all beings could live with greater peace and harmony. Reiki is now respected and practiced world-wide in a wide range of settings: hospices and hospitals, veterinary practices, massage clinics and practices, and holistic spas. It has been clinically demonstrated to help reduce stress and to help relieve pain, while espousing universal human values.
