Celebrating 30 years of Reiki at PMTI !

Overview: This course provides a slow, gentle introduction to Usui Reiki, a Japanese healing technique known to relieve stress, release emotional blockages, provide pain relief, and enhance mental clarity. Practitioners will learn: 

1. The history of this universal healing modality
2. Meditative and centering techniques for the practitioner (while not required, some familiarity with mindfulness is helpful)
3. A series of basic hand positions for treatment, with ample opportunity to practice on yourself and others
4. Enhanced capacity for energetic healing
5. Techniques ideal for clients who want to include personal transformation and energetic healing as part of their bodywork sessions
6. To use Reiki practice on companion animals

Bio: Teaching Reiki at PMTI since the 1990s, Mary Jane Pagan offers a traditional “Asian meditative, body-based” style of teaching. Her approach includes a focus on body mechanics with a primary focus on relieving stress and finding inner calm. As part of this one-day course Mary Jane will include basic meditation, an emphasis on the relaxation response and a focus on how this modality blends well with other techniques.

Cost: The First 5 Students to register (for either Saturday or Sunday) pay a Special Registration Fee of $145.00. 

Register by September 27th for $165.00.  

Registrations starting September 27th are $175.00. 

For those desiring back-to-back classes, the second class will be discounted to half-price ($87.50) and participants will receive a total of 12 CEs.

Reiki 1 is a one-day, 6 CEU course.**

This offering occurs on two consecutive days, giving participants who wish to repeat the experience an opportunity for additional exposure to the many benefits of this century-old (since 1923) healing art. 

The course includes the traditional attunement process associated with Reiki 1.
