About the event
Trauma occurs beyond the cells — it exists in the way a person lives in their body and holds on to their past experiences, often long after any actual injury has healed. Join us for this FREE Zoom meeting as we reorient the therapeutic lens. We will explore how to move beyond a clinical focus on "fixing" tissues and use your massage skills to amplify/integrate the client’s direct experience through the practitioner-client exchange. By shifting from a “researching and removing” mentality to a “responding and resourcing” approach, you will learn to facilitate and improve the vital interplay between the physical, mental, and emotional states.
