Chevy Chase Club, a private country club in Chevy Chase, Maryland, is seeking a part-time Licensed Massage Therapist. Located in the Fitness Center of the Club, our massage facilities offer members outstanding service in a spa-like setting. We seek an experienced, compassionate, friendly, and skilled therapist with high standards of service and hospitality.

Job Responsibilities

Massage soft body tissues to relieve discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance, or general relaxation.
Provide consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with club protocols and accepted certification practices.
Confidentially discuss client concerns and medical history to develop the most effective approach to massage treatment.
Perform prep work, properly clean, and restock room as required.
Sanitize rooms and equipment before and after each client
Ability to work independently.
Document SOAP notes for each client.
Arrive on time for appointments at least 30 min prior to start.
Adhere to the dress code (Black pants and Club provided shirt).
Job Skills & Qualifications

Hold and maintain current MD state massage therapy license
Current Liability Insurance
Current CPR certification
Adhere to all policies, regulations, and laws related to massage therapy
Ability to handle sensitive client information with confidentiality
Ability to pass a background check
Commitment to receiving continuing education
Must have enthusiasm and outstanding customer service skills
At least 3 years of paid experience as a massage therapist
Excellence in Swedish and Deep Tissue work is required; Pregnancy massage, sports massage, and/or hot stone therapy are a plus.
Job Type: Contract employee / 50 % - 60 % commission
